Since February 2015, GEOtest, a.s. has been providing, together with the geodetic office Angermeier Engineers, s.r.o., comprehensive geotechnical monitoring of the construction of the Ejpovice Tunnel. Part of the work was also a supplementary geotechnical survey for driving the southern tunnel tube, the northern tunnel tube and tunnel interconnections.

The tunnel forms two single-track tunnel tubes 4.15 km long, driven by EPBM technology – a re-adjustable earth pressure balance shield of 10 m in diameter. The tunnelling took place in the years 2015 – 2017.
The Ejpovice Tunnel is a part of the project “Modernisation of the Rokycany – Plzeň Railway Line” in the 3rd transit railway corridor.
