In June 2018, a supplementary engineering-geological survey was carried out, focused on the River Svratka channel.

The objective of work was to verify the existing bottom of the River Svratka and its characteristics with regard to the possibilities of driving sheet piles and building a construction pit. Within 2 stages of fieldwork, a ramming test was carried out from the area of the existing road of Žabovřeská Street.
The ramming test consisted of driving sheet piles into the area of the River Svratka channel.
In addition, drilling was carried out, as well as field geotechnical tests of dynamic penetration from a convoy of pontoon boats directly in the river channel.
