Static and dynamic penetration probing

Modern methods of probing

  • Static penetration CPT – with a Begemann mechanical cone
  • Static penetration CPTU – with electrical data sensing and pore water pressure measurement
  • Dynamic penetration DPT
  • Spiral drilling

using a PAGANI TG 63 penetrometer – 100 kN

  • Penetration (indentation) applying a force of 10 tonnes (100 kN) – counterweight: two self-drilling anchors (CPT and CPTU)
  • A ram 50.0 kg (standard), the height of falls 50 cm (standard) (DPT)
  • Digital data sensing, imaging on a laptop during testing
  • Imaging interpretative software Pagani and Geotech
  • Easy passability through terrain, transport in a trailer behind a Land Rover off-road vehicle
  • Depth range of penetration – about 20.0 m
  • Diameter of drilling – 100 mm, depth range – about 10 m
  • A sampling device for undisturbed soil samples

We deliver results in the form of a protocol with a list of measured values in the form of tables and graphs. We carry out the interpretation of results in the form of a geotechnical profile with values of selected geotechnical parameters according to correlations.
