The vice-president of Republika Srpska - Mr. Enes Suljkanović - visited GEOtest's stand at ZEPS Fair trade in Zenica

On the 1st October 2013 Mr. Enes Suljkanović, vice-president of Republika Srpska, visited GEOtest’s stand at the 20th general trade fair ZEPS in Zenica. During the first day of the fair trade Mr. Damir Kasum, director of GEOTEST d.o.o. Sarajevo company, presented to Mr. Suljkanovićovi a project backed by Czech Development Agency called „Usage of renewable geothermal energy in Doboj“.

This project is a continuation of successful cooperation between Czech Development Agency, LAG (Local Action Group of Doboj), city of Doboj and Czech and Bosnian GEOtest. It comprises of geological, hydrogeological and geotechnical surveys in Doboj, which will yield data for determining positions of geothermal boreholes. As a part of the project a 3D model of geothermal potentials in Doboj municipality will be created. Then activities resulting in connection of Sveti Sava elementary school in Ševarlije to the geothermal heat source will be carried out.

The presentation was attended by members of Czech Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina – H. E. Tomáš Szunyog, the ambassador and Mr. Petr Kašička, the commercial attaché, Mr. Esmin Mahmutović, the chairman of the City Council of Doboj and Mrs. Maja Mišić, the executive director of the LAG of Doboj Region.
