GEOtest is searching for an intern to be part of our team!

GEOtest, a.s is a Czech Company with over 40 years of experience in applied geology and environmental protection, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Since 2011, GEOtest, mainly through its branch office in the Netherlands, is successfully delivering consultancy services in the following areas: Civil society, displacement, education, employment, food security, governance, health, human rights, humanitarian action, disaster risk reduction, justice sector reform, migration, poverty eradication, rural development, security, social development, state reform, trade development and the private sector, as well as in development policies and in the area of climate, energy, environment and natural resources.

Department: Framework Contracts Humanitarian Unit

The intern will be part of the Framework Contracts team that provides service for the European Commission (among others) in the following sectors:

  • International development
  • Governance
  • Humanitarian Action
  • Food Security, Rural Development
  • Environment, Climate Change

Job description:

  • To provide administrative support to the Framework Contracts team: editing, optimizing lay-out of documents.
  • To support the team with recruitment and selection procedures.
  • To support the team by communicating with clients, partners and consultants.
  • To maintain and improve a database of information and knowledge of experts profiles.


  • University level education (BA) in the field of development cooperation, social sciences, environment, human resources, management or related studies;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications is highly necessary;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of other languages such as French, Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage;
  • Very good communication skills;
  • Sense of humour and team spirit is key;
  • Specialisation in one of the above mentioned service sectors is an asset;
  • Knowledge of and experience with the EC external cooperation programmes is an asset;
  • Knowledge of project and programme management or project evaluation is an asset.


  • 300-500 Euro monthly
  • 6 months contract with the possibility of extension

Place of work: our office in Utrecht, Netherlands.
