Delivery of Technology for the Implementation of an Integrated Waste Management System in the Una-Sana Canton, Bihac (2006 - 2010)
Construction of a modern regional landfill of municipal waste for the whole Una-Sana Canton, complying with both the required standards of the local legislation and the requirements of the regulations of the European Union, with a capacity for the prospective number of population and the production of wastes up to the year 2025.
The main beneficiaries of the project (besides the population of the canton) on the Bosnian part are as follows:
- The Ministry of Building, Physical Planning and Environmental Protection of the Una-Sana Canton
- Relevant departments of administrative bodies of the individual administrative areas (opshtiny) of the Una-Sana Canton - Bihac, Bosanska Krupa, Bosansky Petrovac, Buzim, Cazin, Kljuc, Sanski Most and Velka Kladusa
- The company Regionalna deponija "US REG DEP", d.o.o. Bihac - founded for the solution of waste management problems in the canton
