More about FWC COM 2011 Lot 1
The beneficiary of the framework contract COM2011 is the European Commission itself or in some cases the European Commission with the beneficiaries of the external aid, the European external action services and the European Court of Auditors.
The objective of the EC's Framework Contracts is to provide short-term expertise which can be mobilised at very short notice.
How does it work?
Each lot falling under the Framework contracts (BENEF or COM) is serviced by several consortia that are invited - through so-called Requests for Services (RfS) - to submit proposals (consisting of CVs of experts, brief methodologies and financial offers) for each specific assignment. The time between the receipt of an RfS and the deadline for submitting the specific proposals is limited to two weeks from the receipt of the RfS.
Individual projects under the FWCs are short term studies related to the full project cycle:
- identification, feasibility, operational and technical follow-up assignments
- financial and/or contractual monitoring
- project evaluation
- technical, financial or contractual audit of the project
- technical advice
- training and support
- information and communication, or closure of a project
