FWC Department

GEOtest is a growing consultancy firm providing wide spectrum services in the field of Environment for over 40 years. In 2011, a Framework Contracts Department was established with the objective to provide technical assistance on a range of development cooperation issues from rural development and environmental challenges to Humanitarian Aid, Crisis Management and Post-crisis assistance worldwide.

Our department is specialised in Framework Contracts (FWC) management for European Union external Aid Development and Cooperation – EuropeAid, the European Parliament and the European Investment Bank. The overall focus of our department is providing technical assistance and conducting various studies in and for countries benefiting from the European Union external Aid.

The geographical coverage of the FWC is European Union Countries, Central and Eastern Europe, Balkans, New Independent States, Latin America, Asia, Mediterranean countries, Africa, Caribbean, Pacific.

Our approach

We aim to build solid, loyal and reciprocal relationship with our clients, associated experts and research institutions with active sharing of knowledge and lessons learned.

We recognize the importance of sector experience and knowledge regarding the most pressing development challenges.

Our team consists of experts from the fields of sustainability, international development, environmental science, humanitarian action and conflict management and resolution with knowledge of the full project management cycle and proven backstopping capability.

The team has a wide range of language skills, covering English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Czech and Lithuanian.

Our down-to-earth attitude, combined with our continuous striving to provide excellent services underlines our approach.

Our work

We have amongst others advised on studies for a disaster management training network, an impact study of the biofuels production on developing countries from the point of view of Policy Coherence for Development, and carried out a mid-term evaluation of projects under the EU support to socio economic measures in North & East Sri Lanka.

Our clients

Our multidisciplinary teams work for international organisations such as the European Union (European Commission, European Union Delegations world-wide, European Parliament and various Directorate Generals), the European Investment Bank, the World Bank, as well as for national governments and several bilateral development organisations.
